Broadband for Seniors Kiosk
Computer Lessons for Seniors
- a great opportunity for free computer training for beginners as well as those who already have some computer experience. We can teach you basic computer skills and how to set up simple documents as well as how to create an email account and browse the internet. The kiosk features two computers with internet access and you can attend sessions individually or, if you prefer, with your partner or with a friend.
So if you or someone you know would like to learn more about the program or book in for a trial session please call us on 6295 8380 or contact us by email. The kiosk will operate between 9am and 4pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Broadband for Seniors is part of an Australian Government initiative to increase the skills of older Australians using computers and the internet.
The new internet kiosk offers the opportunity for seniors (50 and over) to discover how the web can play a great part in helping them to stay in touch with friends and family, along with offering access to the wealth of information available online. More information on the Broadband for Seniors initiative can be found at www.necseniors.net.au.
